Title: MSCA IF fellow of the week.
It is a great honor to be the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions-IF “fellow of the week”!
Please find below, the post from the Facebook page of MSCA.
Our #MSCA IF fellow of the week is Theodoros Moysiadis, a statistician researching in the field of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). CLL is a type of cancer and the most common adult leukemia in the West.
Theodoros MSCA project, CLLassify, uses statistical models to both improve prognostic classification of CLL patients, and to enable personalised prediction of CLL progression for the individual patient. These could help healthcare professionals in patient management, as well as improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
Theodoros has a fundamental role in the management and coordination of CLLassify. He has been collaborating with scientists from all over Europe, broadening his scientific connections and international collaborations, supervising in parallel, post-graduate students. To highlight the relevance of research, Theodoros engages actively with the public. He regularly informs about CLLassify‘s progress on their website and takes part in MSCA events. About the European Researchers’ Night in Thessaloniki he said: “It is a unique experience that bridges science and society at large”.
